I always get really excited when I know I am doing a maternity shoot on the day. I think it's because I know how difficult it is to photograph yourself when pregnant without the proper lighting and experience.

Today I met Jenna from Ewell at my studio in Banstead with her husband and two gorgeous kids. They were initially a bit shy but by the end of the shoot they were all too happy to pose with mums bump. No wonder mum ordered the full set of images!

Here are a few I wanted to share with you from this session, they will from a great album together.

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the third addition to the family...

This mummy is really rocking her pregnancy. Doesn't she look gorgeous!

When children are involved I always try and get a shot of them and bump which is treasured by mum long after bump has gone. In addition, I personally quite like to give parents who already have children one which only shows hands on bump. It's a great photo to share with family and friends!

Bump with a 'congratulations' bow is still a favourite with many mums-to-be. It's one of the images I have given all mums since starting my maternity photography and it looks fantastic with high-contrast studio lighting.

When Jenna saw the photos in her online gallery she said: "there are lots of lovely photos. In fact so many nice ones we are finding it difficult to choose."

I won't have to wait long before I will see this lovely family again as the newborn session is already booked. Cannot wait!
